It has been a minute since our last post because of exactly what is in the title: I just completed a large collaboration with Working Class Studio of the Savannah College of Art and Design, and I could not be more excited.
We worked together to take the minimal designs and rustic materials of Fellowings and Nest, and marry them with the pop-bright hues of modern Southern prints and patterns that make up the other goods in their line. The result? The Minimal Wallet, Leather Coasters, and Leather Catch Alls that made the rounds at the various US gift fairs throughout the month of January, culminating in the New York International Gift Fair at the end of the month. Take a look next at the photos from the production of the collection, and check out the lovely blog feature by Working Class Studio here.
Many thanks go out to my parents, who helped me endlessly to get this order out on time. This is largest production run I have ever done in the LWD studios, much bigger than my normal little runs of 20! I couldn’t have gotten it all done on time, in great shape, and with so many ideas to make it better along the way without Mom and Dad!
