Rethinking Human Nature

It is one of the oft pondered questions: is humankind inherently good, or are we hardwired to be evil? Years of science, religion, and government have told us the latter, that we are meant to be self-centered, egotistical, and greedy, and competitive.

Personally, I have long thought that we are at least somewhat disposed towards good; that most people care about others; and that a great majority of the population has some moral compass that guides their lives in a way of goodness over bad.

New science has emerged that we may actually be good like I have hoped. A very interesting video that Jonathan found is posted next, and I think it’s very well timed with the holiday season. Enjoy.
